1950s poster design

During my sesson with Julie she discussed 50 poster design resources through google. Google bring up a lot of search results up but not always the best first, it takes a lot of
time to get solid resources. But I looked around and heres some of the sites and images that caught my eye.

I think I've found some good examples even with google. What do they all have in common appart from being American, bold strong typefaces, illustrative images (almost grainy as well) and no limit on colours.
